The 2010 F4 was a ground-up redesign rather than an update: a new 998 cc radial-valve engine, a lighter and narrower chassis, single-sided swingarm and lower, more compact bodywork. It brought eight-level traction control, a twin-map ECU (Sport and Rain) and a digital dash. Colours were red/silver, black and titanium/admiral grey.
